I'm trying to get my hands on a 40/40 Healing Set for my monk without breaking my bank...any suggestions?

Get the wand from the crafter in Leviathan Pits or Vasburg Armory; get the focus from a collector in Prophecies.

/agree. You don't need an "OMG TORMENTED 40/40 SET!! YOU ARE SO UB3R AWESOME!!" Really? Is there an advantage to having a high priced set? No. It's not like some sets can go 50/50 or anything. So just get the collector weps. They're A LOT cheaper and just as good as gold or green sets. And they're a ton easier to get. Most collector items needed for the sets can be farmed w/a 55 build.

Here's a link i found on here a few months ago, it's what i used to find a few of my 40/40 sets from collectors.
I don't know what exactly you mean by cheap, but you can buy droknar's keys for around 6-7k each and go trade them in, there's 20/20 wands and offhands for every attribute in the area after you finish a time for heroes.
But anyway here's the link to find 20/20 wands/offhands really quick
http://sjeng.onedot.nl/jagers/collectors/collectors.htm
Hope it's not a problem because i got that link from a thread right on guru.

Dunshek's Purifier, and a collector 20/20 offhand from the link posted above.
I got my purifier for 5k or something. I don't know the actual price on it though.

The only ting that is gonna break the bank is the forget me not inscription.
Can buy a wand for probs 1k no probs, appt not att probs 2k, nd wrapping of mem for probs 1k. Core of apt again is out 2k, and the focus between 1-5k.
Its not gonna set you back too much if you dont care about skin. Also, the BMP allows access to essentially free weapons, with pretty sick skins 2 in some cases.

I made my set using the Bonus Mission items. They are nice in that the skins are unique and the only investment (besides the games required for the BMP) are for the mods on the items.

EOTN endgame wands and foci are all 20/20. There you go. One stop shopping.
